Profile

The Parish is in the Deanery of Godalming in Guildford Diocese within a beautiful rural area. It is located within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the western end of the North Downs between Guildford and Farnham. It stretches over a distance of about 8 miles east to west and about 3 miles north to south.

Puttenham, Seale and The Sands are on the Pilgrim’s Way on the south side of the Hog’s Back, and Wanborough is on the north side close to Puttenham.

The villages are small and charming with thriving communities, and the churches are very much the focal points of the villages. The Rectory is located in Seale about 250m. from St Laurence Church.

The Hampton Estate is situated between Seale and Puttenham.
