Art in the Great Barn 2009

Once again Wanborough’s Great Barn will be hosting an exhibition of the work of local artists over Heritage Open Days from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September, 10am until 5pm each day. The artists include:

Charles Bone is a Royal College of Art Graduate and an award winning painter. He has exhibited many watercolours and oils at the Royal Academy and has supported Heritage Open Days in Wanborough Barn for many years.

Victor Ambrus is an illustrator best known for his talent for recreating the past in his regular appearances on BBCs Time Team.

Glenys Ambrus works mainly in oils and pastels in a figurative style. The common denominator in her work is colour.

Robyn Horsburgh is a versatile artist. Her flora work is particularly spectacular, in bold colours and original compositions.

Sue Jelley is interested in movement and her paintings convey an energy and passion. For her, nothing is static.

There will also be a display of the work of local photographer, Allen Scott. Entry to the exhibition is free.
