History

The union of three parishes of Seale, Puttenham and Wanborough became effective on 1st August 2004 following confirmation by the Privy Council of the Pastoral Scheme made pursant to the Pastoral Measure 1983 by the Church Commissioners.

Two lay representaives for each Parish Church is elected for 3 years by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM).

The each Parish Church elects two Churchwarden at the Annual meeting of parishioners, these Churchwarden are ex-offio members of the PCC. Also ex-offio members are the Minister, other licensed Ministers, licensed lay ministers (as agreed by APCM) and members of the Deanery and Diocesan synod.

Sub-Committees

The PCC has 4 standing sub-committes, Seale & Sands, Puttenham, Wanborough and Finance.

The 3 church sub-committes are responsible for the maintenance of the fabric of its church in line with the agreed budget and to conduct quinquennial inspections on behalf of the PCC. And to submit recommendations for faculty applications affecting its own church to the PCC.
